  If your Wen Pole Saw chain is dry, the oil tank may be empty, so refill it. Alternatively, the ventilation in the oil tank cap might be clogged, which requires cleaning. Finally, the oil flow channel could be blocked, so unclog it.

Why is the chain/guide rail on my Wen Pole Saw hot?

  If the chain or guide rail on your Wen Pole Saw gets hot, it could be due to a lack of oil in the tank. Refill the oil. Another cause might be a clogged ventilation in the oil tank cap, so clean the cap. Also, check for any blockages in the oil tank flow channel and unclog it. Lastly, a dull chain can cause overheating, so resharpen or replace the chain.
