  If the Weslo Treadmill walking belt slows down when walked on: * Using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn, because the walking belt may be overtightened. Overtightening can decrease performance and damage the belt. * Make sure that the gap between the Magnet and the Reed Switch is about 1/8 in. (3 mm). If necessary, adjust the Reed Switch. Never apply silicone spray or other substances to the walking belt. If the walking belt still slows when walked on, no answer.

  If the walking belt on your Weslo Treadmill is off-center or slips when you walk on it: * If the belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left rear roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn; if it has shifted to the right, turn the left rear roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. * If the walking belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both rear roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.
