- Heat Mode (WPac14000h only): Warm air flows from the outlet grille. Temperature can be set between 55°F (13°C) and 81°F (27°C). Fan speed (High, Low, Auto) can be selected. Water condensation is collected and requires draining.
- Smart Mode: Automatically selects between cool, heat (WPac14000h only), or fan mode based on room temperature.
- UP/DOWN Buttons: Adjust temperature settings in cool or heat modes. Holding both buttons for three seconds switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

- Cleaning the Air Filters: Filters should be cleaned every three months, or more frequently in dusty environments. Dirty filters reduce airflow and efficiency. Unplug the unit, open the filter door/remove the intake grille, slide out the filter, and clean with a vacuum cleaner. For very dirty filters, use warm water and mild detergent. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstallation. Never operate the unit without filters.
- Cleaning the Exhaust Duct: Unplug the unit, remove the duct, clean with warm water and mild detergent, allow to dry, and reinstall.
- Draining Collected Water:
- Manual Draining (Cool and Dry Modes): Unplug the unit, place a drain pan under the lower drain plug, remove the cap, and allow water to drain. Keep the unit vertical. Reinstall the cap.
- Continuous Draining (Dry Mode): Unplug the unit, remove the cap from the upper drain plug, insert a 1/2-inch diameter drain hose (not supplied) or garden hose into the upper drain plug, and route the other end to a bucket or floor drain. Plug in the unit to operate.
- Error Codes: The unit has a self-diagnostic system that displays error messages (e.g., "PF" for probe failure, "ft" for full tank) to indicate malfunctions.
- Remote Control Batteries: Requires AAA batteries (1.5V). Slide off the battery cover, install new batteries according to polarity, and replace the cover.
