ImportantSafetyInstructions

Whenusingelectricappliances,basicprecautionsshouldalwaysbefollowed,

- Unplugfromoutletwhennotinuseandbeforeservicingorcleaning.
- Donotoperateanyappliancewithadamagedcordorplug,or
aftertheappliance
malfunctionsorisdroppedordamagedinanymanner.Returnappliancetothe
nearestAuthorizedServiceCenterforexamination,repair,orelectricalormechanical
adjustment.
7. Foraportableappliance–Toreducetheriskofelectricalshock,donotplacethemotorin
waterorother
liquids.Donotplaceorstoreappliancewhereitcanfallorbepulledintoa
tuborsink.

GroundingInstructions
Thisappliancemustbegrounded.Intheeventofmalfunctionorbreakdown,groundingprovides
apathofleastresistanceforelectriccurrenttoreducetheriskofelectricshock.Thisapplianceis
equippedwithacordhavinganequipment‐groundingconductorandagroundingplug.Theplug
mustbepluggedintoanappropriateoutletthatisproperlyinstalledandgroundedinaccordance
withalllocalcodesandordinances.
Improperconnectionoftheequipment‐groundingconductorcanresultinarisk
ofelectricshock.Theconductorwithinsulationhavinganoutersurfacethatisgreenwithor
withoutyellowstripesistheequipment‐groundingconductor.Ifrepairorreplacementofthe
cordorplugisnecessary,donotconnecttheequipment‐groundingconductortoaliveterminal.
Checkwithaqualifiedelectricianorservicemanifthegroundinginstructionsarenotcompletely
understood,orifindoubtastowhethertheapplianceisproperlygrounded.Donotmodifythe
plugprovidedwiththeappliance–ifitwillnotfittheoutlet,haveaproperoutletinstalledbya
qualifiedelectrician.
