Overview

This document describes the Whirlpool ADG 7557 dishwasher, providing details on its functions, usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Function Description

The Whirlpool ADG 7557 is a dishwasher designed to clean crockery and cutlery. It offers a range of wash programmes tailored for different levels of soiling and types of items. Key functions include:

  • Programme Selection: Users can select from various programmes like "Pre-Rinse," "Quickwash," "Eco," "Antibacterial," and "Intensive" based on the load's requirements.
  • Detergent Dispensing: The dishwasher automatically dispenses detergent (powder, tablet, or gel) at the appropriate time during the wash cycle.
  • Rinse Aid Dispensing: It includes a dispenser for rinse aid, which helps with drying and prevents streaks. The dosage can be adjusted.
  • Salt Reservoir: A dedicated reservoir for dishwasher salt helps soften hard water, improving washing performance and preventing limescale buildup. A visual indicator (depending on the model) and an indicator lamp on the control panel signal when salt needs to be added.
  • Water Hardness Setting: The device allows users to set the water hardness level, which influences the amount of salt and detergent used for optimal results.
  • Delayed Start: Users can delay the start of a programme, offering flexibility in scheduling.
  • Half Load/Multizone Function: This feature allows for washing a smaller load in either the upper or lower rack, optimizing water and energy consumption.
