If your Whirlpool Washer doesn't start and the “Start/Pause” button is blinking, it could be due to several reasons. First, the Rinse Hold function might be activated; you can terminate it by draining the water or spinning the laundry. Second, the program might have been interrupted, possibly because the door was opened; ensure the door is closed properly and press “Start/Pause” to continue the program. Finally, the safety system might have been activated due to a failure or a closed water tap; refer to the “Failure indicators” section and ensure the water tap is open and the inlet hose has no kinks.
