NOTES:
1. Outdoor Thermostat 1 should be the first to close and the last
to open.
2. Connect the white and brown wires from the air handler if
Outdoor Thermostat 2 is not used.
3. Remove this wire when using an outdoor thermostat.
4. EHR—Emergency heat relay (optional)
Thermostat Connection—Cooling Unit with Optional Heat Kits of 10kW and Below
IMPORTANT: When matching the WAHME air handlers to a single-stage cooling unit or heat pump, remember to connect the Y/Y2
thermostat connection on the variable speed board (VSTP) to the thermostat. Connecting Y1 will result in 1
st
stage cooling blower speed
and may cause the contactor to chatter.
NOTES:
1. Outdoor Thermostat 1 (OT-1) should be the first to close and
the last to open.
2. Jumper W1 and W2 together if OT-2 is not used.
3. Remove this wire when using an outdoor thermostat.
4. EHR—Emergency heat relay (optional)
5. OT—Outdoor thermostat (optional)
