Never push the Litter-Robot against a wall or into a corner. Ensure adequate space around the unit.
Cats must weigh at least 5 lbs. to safely use the Litter-Robot in Automatic Mode.
Place the unit indoors on a firm, level surface in a cool, dry location, ideally near the old litter box.
Use low pile (1/4 inch) mats completely under or in front of the unit, not partially under it.
Use clumping litter, beads, or crystals that pass through the screen. Fill to the raised line (approx. 8-10 lbs).
Insert the power cord into the base and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
Press the Power button on the control panel to initiate the first clean cycle.
