Disengage
the
hand
wheel

mechanism
by
turning
the
clutch

toward
you

counter
clockwise.
Place
a
spool
of
thread
on
one
of
Lire
spool
pins
and
lead
thread
though
the
arm
thread
guide

Run
end
of
thread
through
a
hole
in
the
bobbin
edge
and
place
bobbin
on
spindle
of
bobbin
winder

fitting

notch
on
bobbin
over
small
pin

spindle.
Push
bobbin

to

right,
and
hold
thread
end
loosely
then
start
machine
slowly.
Bobbin
will
stop
winding

away
from
you
until
sewing
mechanism
is
again
engaged

hand
wheel.
Break
off
loose
thread
end
used
to
start
the
winding.
