How to connect to the internet using WifiRanger Converge?

  To connect to the Internet using your WifiRanger Antenna, follow these steps: 1. Connect to the WiFiRanger WiFi network from your computer/device. 2. Enter the WiFiRanger’s default password, which is changemenow followed by the last 4 digits of your WFR ID (found on the device sticker or the default WiFi broadcast). 3. Go to mywifiranger.com in your web browser (Google Chrome is recommended). Smartphone users can access the full Control Panel via a link at the bottom of the mobile version. 4. On the Main tab, click Scan and wait for the WiFi network list to refresh. 5. Click Connect on the desired network. 6. If required, enter the network’s password or log in through a Filtered network.

  If you can't access the Control Panel using mywifiranger.com with your WifiRanger Antenna, try the following: 1. Make sure your computer/device is connected to the WiFiRanger. 2. Enter 10.1.XX.XX:8080 into your web browser's address bar, replacing the X's with the last 4 digits of your WFR ID (found on the device sticker or the default WiFi broadcast). 3. If it still doesn't load, try using different web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. 4. If it continues not to load, clear your web browser’s cache and try step 2 again.

Click the Setup tab. 4. Click the gear icon for Cellular to expand the settings. 5. You can then view the IMEI and SIM numbers.

  To perform a factory reset on your WiFiRanger Antenna: 1. Unplug or switch off the power to the WiFiRanger (wait 5 seconds). 2. Power it on (wait 2 minutes 30 seconds), then power it off again (wait 5 seconds). 3. Power it on (wait 3 minutes 30 seconds), then power it off again (wait 5 seconds). 4. Power it on (wait 3 minutes 30 seconds), then power it off again (wait 5 seconds). 5. Power it on (wait 3 minutes). 6. Connect to the WiFiRanger following the Quick Start Guide instructions.

  If you forgot your WifiRanger Antenna password: 1. Connect your computer to the LAN port of the indoor WiFiRanger using an Ethernet cable. 2. Go to mywifiranger.com in your web browser. 3. Review or change your password on the WiFi tab of the Control Panel. If you can't connect via LAN, perform a Factory Reset.

  If you connect to a public WiFi network with your WifiRanger Antenna that requires a login or agreement: 1. Make sure your computer/device is connected to the WiFiRanger. 2. Go to mywifiranger.com in your web browser. 3. Click Connect on the desired Filtered network and wait for the connection. 4. Under the Internet banner, click the link that says “Click here to log in”. 5. Follow the login/agreement steps required by the public WiFi provider.

  If your WiFiRanger Antenna doesn't appear in your available networks, follow these steps: 1. Confirm the WiFiRanger router is powered on. * If it's powered on, wait 3-5 minutes and try connecting again. * If it's powered off (no lights), test the power supply for 12V using a voltage meter. Contact WiFiRanger tech support if the power appears to be the issue. 2. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, perform a Factory Reset.

  If you can’t register your WifiRanger Antenna product, it might be due to a known bug. To work around this: 1. Ensure your computer/device is connected to the WiFiRanger. 2. Go to mywifiranger.com in your web browser. 3. Click the Register tab. 4. Enter only your First Name, Last Name, and Email (leave all other fields blank). 5. Click Save Changes.
