1. Lift the 4 clasps according to arrow’s direction (pic. 1), lifting the clasps off the cover
(pic. 2).
2. There are two handles on top of the filter body, hold the handles and pull the top cov-
er off (pic. 3). The filter cover and body are now separated (pic. 4).
3. Take out the filter boxes, put in filter materials or bio cottons as you wish (please see
pic. 5 for reference).
4. Put back the full filter boxes in the order they were removed and put on the cover
again. Make sure the inlet of the filter box is facing the same direction as the con-
nector (pic. 6). Then close it and make sure it is sealed well, put down the 4 clasps.
5. Connect the 16 mm in/ outlet adjuster to the bend connector marked IN, screw it on
tightly. Then connect the 12 mm in/ outlet adjuster on the bend connector marked
OUT, screw it on tightly as well (pic. 7).
6. Attention: Before connecting the in/ outlet adjusters check that the O-ring on the
connectors is placed rightly.
7. Place the 16 mm hose onto the 16 mm in/ outlet adjuster and tighten it securely, then
place the 12 mm hose onto the 12 mm in/ outlet adjuster and tighten it securely (pic.
8).
8. The lever of the of in/ outlet adjuster is either in the on or off position (pic. 9).
9. Assemble the inlet parts according to the pictures and fix them inside the aquarium to
the suction inlet. Put the 16 mm hose onto the inlet bend connector and tighten it se-
curely.
10. Assemble the outlet parts according to the pictures and fix them inside the aquarium.
You can decide on the direction it will be facing and the height individually. Then the
12 mm hose needs to be placed onto the outlet bend connector and mounted tightly.
11. There is a jet connector for the outlet in case you don’t want to use the scatter pipe.
Simply exchange it for the jet pipe.
