6) Misc. settings
(1) LCD backlight
Press the Up/Down key to select Brightness or Time, press the left or
right key to set, press the Send key to confirm. If you do not press any
key within a certain period of time, the backlight will be turned off
automatically when the set time duration expires
Network Settings
Select “Settings→ Network Settings”.
1) Network Selection
It has New search, Select network and Selection mode. You can set
“Automatic” (preferred) or “Manual”. When you select the “Automatic”,
the phone will select the network where the SIM card falls in. When you
select “Manual”, you must select that network with which the SIM card
has been registered.
2) Preferences
In the index screen, press the Send key to enter, and you can select the
followings:
① Add from List: Display the full PLMN list, including 229 options.
② New: Add a new network and the priority usage.
③ Change priority: Set the priority right over the network.
④ Delete: Delete the preferred networks that being used.
Note: the network operator decides whether this service is available.
3) GPRS connection
You can click the left soft key to shift between “When needed” or
“Always”.
