1. Purpose
The softener DuoMatik 2x4 is a water conditioner which softens hard tap water for the use in the glass or
dishwasher. It is installed between the water supply and the glass or dishwasher.
2. Positioning
Principally the softener is installed on the floor. When installing it on an existing shelf or plinth the pulleys have to
be removed.
The place of installation has to be horizontal and even. Slight inclination as it is usual in scullaries, do not affect
the function, however, the softener has to be protected against rolling away.
Adjacent to the softener there should be a water drain max. 300 mm above the floor.
Electrical connection is not necessary.
The place of installation has to be chosen in such a way that the housing cover may be removed and regenerating
salt be filled in.
