8. Interruptions
The machine is equipped with an automatic low-water alarm. This gives warning by blinking
of the programme switches (3 and 4), when the tank is not filled with water approx. 8 min
after the machine has been switched on.
- Check whether standpipe is inserted correctly and whether isolation valve on site is open.
- Then switch off and on the mains switch (1) to release again the filling process.
Call the Winterhalter after-sales-service when the low-water alarm blinks again.
9. Special hints
Should the wash tank water become especially dirty, it is recommended that the machine be
emptied and refilled with clean fresh water.
Please use only detergent, rinse aid and regenerating salt which are suitable for commercial
dishwashing machines. We recommend the products which have been developed by us and
are suitable for our machines.
All indications about quantity and weight of detergent and rinse aid refer to Winterhalter pro-
ducts.
Besides the daily cleaning the machine should undergo a thorough maintenance, we recom-
mend at least twice a year. Then the jets and wash arms have to be cleaned, and if necessa-
ry the inside of the machine should be descaled and all performance parts and hoses have to
be checked. As far as electrical components are made accessible, these works may only be
done by an expert. In this case call a Winterhalter engineer.
During daily cleaning please take care that no rusty foreign parts remain at the tank bottom
and the tank walls, as these parts may even cause „stainless steel“ to become rusty. Such
rust particles may originate from utensils which are not rustproof, from cleaning aids or from
inlet pipes which are not rustproof.
Protect the machine from frost.
