Why Wizard WA20H42STA will not start?
- AAustin CarrollAug 20, 2025
Your Wizard Lawn Mower might not start due to several reasons: the fuel tank may be empty, the engine might not be choked properly, or the engine could be flooded. Other potential causes include a bad spark plug, a dirty air filter, a dirty fuel filter, or water in the fuel. Also, check for loose or damaged wiring. In some cases, the carburetor may be out of adjustment, or the engine valves might need adjustment, requiring assistance from an authorized service center. Make sure to fill the fuel tank, check the choke, wait if the engine is flooded, replace the spark plug or fuel filter, clean/replace the air filter, drain the fuel tank if water is present, and check all wiring. For carburetor adjustments, see the relevant section in the service manual.
