  If, during brewing, no coffee comes out of your WMF Coffee Maker and the adjusting knob can no longer be turned, it might be due to a clogged central opening in the pad cartridge. If this happens, disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool down for an hour. If the blockage persists, use a straightened paper clip to carefully clear the opening (covering the wire with a kitchen towel), as coffee may spray out. After clearing the blockage, remove and thoroughly clean the pad cartridge. Always ensure the central opening is free and the pads are undamaged before brewing.
