What to do if my Wood Stone MOUNTAIN Oven controller will not turn on?
    • E
      Evan HopkinsJul 28, 2025
If the controller on your Wood Stone Oven doesn't turn on, first verify that the incoming power to the oven is active. Check the circuit breaker for the circuit that supplies power to the oven. Also, ensure that any external wall switches or interlocks controlling the oven's power are turned on. If the controller still does not turn on, please contact Wood Stone for assistance.

How to fix a Wood Stone Oven when the display does not light?
    • A
      aharrisonAug 15, 2025
If the display on your Wood Stone Oven doesn't light up, the first thing to check is whether the breaker to the oven has tripped or been turned off. Verify that the breaker is turned on. Also verify proper incoming power at input side of Transformer. If incoming power is present, verify 12 VAC at output of Transformer. If 12 VAC present replace temperature readout. If 12 VAC is not present, replace the Transformer.

What to do if the Wood Stone MOUNTAIN display lights but the readout is erratic?
    • M
      Michael SandersAug 21, 2025
If the display lights up but the readout is erratic or shows 'EEE' on your Wood Stone Oven, ensure that the Thermocouple connections on the readout module are correctly connected: Red to TC- (negative), yellow to TC+ (positive). Also, remove the Thermocouple wires from the display and create a jumper between TC+ and TC- on the display; the display should then show the ambient temperature. If it does not display the ambient temperature, replace the readout. If the readout displays the ambient temperature (when jumpered), replace the Thermocouple. If applicable, check the plug connection between the readout box and the Thermocouple. If this connection is defective, remove it and wire the Thermocouple directly.
