      If your World Dryer Dryer runs for only a few seconds and then stops, or if you notice an arcing sound or a funny smell (ozone) during operation, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The motor brushes might be at the end of their service life, so you should check them and replace them if necessary. Also, if your dryer is connected to a 208 – 240V power supply, the heating element might be defective and need replacement.

      If your World Dryer Dryer fails to start, several issues could be the cause. First, check the incoming power supply by removing the cover and checking the diagnostic LEDs. If no LEDs are lit, inspect the power supply at the circuit breaker or fuse. If the supply circuit is active but no LEDs are lit, the PCB may be defective, so replace the PCB and transformer. If LED 5 is lit or flashing (Green) without hands under the sensor, the sensor lens may have foreign material or dirt; clean it with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. If LED 5 does not light when hands are under the sensor, replace the PCB and sensor. Also, the motor brushes might be at the end of their service life, so check and replace them if needed.
