    What to do if the fan is working but I can't hear the HF arc striking and wiping arc welding won't strike an arc on my wsm 200M?

      If the fan is working, the abnormal indicator is not lit, you can't hear the sound of HF arc striking, and wiping arc welding can't strike an arc, it could be due to several reasons. The circuit might be broken, or the silicon bridge might have poor contact; measure the voltage of the positive and negative electrodes from the power board to the VH-07 insert of the MOS board with a multimeter – it should read DC 308V. Also, some of the four high electrolytic capacitors (about 470UF/450V) on the power panel might be leaking. The auxiliary power could be out of work, in this case contact your dealer. Check if all kinds of connect and insert cables have poor contact. There could also be a control circuit problem, in this case contact your dealer. The control cable of the torch might be broken.

      If the output current of your wsm Welding System is unstable or not controlled by the potentiometer, fluctuating between high and low, it could be due to a damaged 1K potentiometer; replace it. Also, all kinds of connectors might have poor contact; check them.

      If the abnormal indicator is not lit, you can hear the sound of HF arc-striking, but there's no welding output, it may be because the torch cable is broken. Another possibility is that the grounding cable is broken or not connected to the workpiece. Also, there might be relaxation between the output terminal of the positive electrode, the gas-electricity system output terminal, and the inner machine.

      If the power indicator is not lit, the fan isn't working, and there's no welding output, it could be that the power switch is damaged. Make sure the electric wire net connecting to the input cable is working alright. Also, the input cable may have a broken circuit. Make sure if input cable has broken circuit.

      If the abnormal indicator is not lit, you can't hear the sound of HF arc-striking, but wiping welding can strike an arc, it could be due to several reasons. The primary cable of the arc-striking transformer might have poor contact with the power board; tighten it. The arc-striking tip might be oxidized, or the distance might be too far; remove any film oxide from the burner or adjust the distance between burners to 1mm. The switch might be damaged; replace it. Some of the HF arc-striking circuit components might be damaged; find and replace them.

Another potential cause is a problem with the inverter circuit; to address this, disconnect the power supply plug of the main transformer on the MOS board (near the fan VH-07 insert) and restart the machine. Damaged fieldistors on the MOS board can also cause this issue; replace them with the same model if needed. First, the input cable might be connected to a 380V power supply; if so, connect it to a 220V power supply and restart the machine. Second, there might be an erratic 220V power supply or the input cable might be connected to the electricity network; try increasing the section of the input cable or tightening the input contact, then turn off the machine for 2-3 minutes before restarting.
