Overview

Wuloo Wireless Intercom System

The Wuloo Wireless Intercom System is a full-duplex intercom system designed for hands-free, high-quality communication over long distances. It is expandable and features anti-interference technology for reliable performance.

Function Description

The intercom system allows for two-way, hands-free communication between multiple units. Key functions include:

  • Calling: Users can initiate calls to specific intercom units by selecting the corresponding code number and pressing the CALL/OK button.
  • Answering: Incoming calls are answered by pressing the CALL/OK button, enabling hands-free conversation.
  • Ending Calls: Calls can be terminated by either party pressing the CALL/OK button.
  • GROUP Function: This feature allows a user to broadcast a message to all intercom stations within the system simultaneously by pressing and holding the GROUP button. All intercoms must be on the same channel for this function to work, even if they have different codes.
  • MONITOR Function: This function enables one intercom (the "MONITOR Intercom") to listen to noises from another intercom (the "MONITORED Intercom") without sending noises back. To activate, the MONITOR Intercom presses the code number of the MONITORED Intercom, then presses the MONITOR button. The MONITORED Intercom will receive a "monitor requirement," and pressing its CALL/OK button will enter MONITORED mode. The MONITOR Intercom can then hear audio from the MONITORED Intercom. Pressing the CALL/OK button on the MONITOR Intercom during monitoring will allow both intercoms to communicate like a normal call. The MONITOR mode and CALL functions do not have time limits.
  • Volume Control: The system offers 7 levels of calling volume, adjustable via the VOL+/VOL- buttons.
  • Chime Setting: Users can select from 10 different melodies for the chime. This is done by pressing and holding the VOL+ button for 3 seconds in the ON state, then using VOL+/VOL- to select the melody, and confirming with CALL/OK.
  • Melody Volume Setting: The chime melody volume can be adjusted to 4 different levels. This is done by pressing and holding the VOL- button for 3 seconds in the ON state, then using VOL+/VOL- to select the volume, and confirming with CALL/OK.
  • Channel Setting: Although channel settings are hidden by default (all units are set to channel 1 from the factory), users can change the channel to avoid interference from other intercom systems. To change the channel, the unit must be in the OFF status. Press and hold the power button and CALL/OK button simultaneously to enter Channel setting mode. Use VOL+/VOL- to select the desired channel and CALL/OK to confirm. All units in a system must be set to the same channel to communicate.
  • Code Setting: Each intercom unit must be assigned a unique code number (1-10) within the system. To set a code, press and hold the desired code number button for 3 seconds. A beep and a red light on the button indicate successful setting.

  • Radiation Exposure: For mobile configurations, antennas must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Usage Features

  • Hands-Free Operation: Completely hands-free for ease of use.
  • User-Friendly Design: Shipped with a quick start guide and detailed instructions.
  • Expandability: Easily connect to other intercoms to create multi-intercom systems, up to 10 units. Additional units should be the same model number and set with different codes.
  • Address List: For larger systems, creating an "address list" to remember which intercoms belong to which users is recommended.
  • Testing Connection: When testing, ensure at least 10 meters separation between units or place them in different rooms to prevent interference.
  • Distributing Stations: After testing, intercom stations can be assigned to different users with their respective "address lists."
  • Interference Avoidance: If receiving calls from unknown callers, changing the system's channel can resolve this. Keep intercoms away from Bluetooth speakers, microwave ovens, radios, and other equipment to prevent static.

Maintenance Features

  • Factory Reset: The intercom can be reset to its original factory settings. In the OFF state, press and hold the CALL and VOL- buttons first, then press and hold the POWER button while still holding CALL/OK and VOL-. A beep indicates a successful reset. After reset, the unit will be restored to CODE 1, Channel 1, 4th-level call volume, "ring" melody, and 2nd-level melody volume.
