Why is the pump output very low on my Wylie Paint Sprayer?

If you observe low or erratic pump output in your Wylie Paint Sprayer, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the spray tank is adequately filled to prevent air from entering the pump. Next, verify that the tank ball valve is fully open. A plugged strainer can also restrict output, so clean it thoroughly. Inspect the suction hose for any collapse and replace it if necessary. Air leaks in the suction system can also cause issues; tighten fittings and check for cracked or cut components, applying thread sealant to pipe threads. Ensure the PTO/engine RPM is sufficient; if it's too slow, increase the speed.
