Why does my X-Tronic 4020-PRO-X soldering iron rattle?

The "rattle" you hear in your X-Tronic Power Tool's soldering iron is normal. It's a small ball that lets the unit know when the soldering iron isn't being used, so it can go into Sleep Mode.
