Locate and remove the socket head screw securing the control panel using an allen wrench.
Lift the control panel up and pull forward to disengage its rear hook, then slide it free.
Loosen finger screws on the pendant cable connector and carefully remove it from the control panel.
Remove locknuts from studs on the touchscreen sides to free it from the mounting points.
Use pliers to gently twist and remove the four studs holding the touchscreen in place.
Use the ribbon cable's position to determine the correct top orientation for the new touchscreen.
Center the touchscreen in the opening and secure it using four specified button head screws.
Carefully route the new touchscreen cable back to the control panel along the original path.
Shift the control panel to the correct position, ensuring cables are not stretched.
Locate and connect the touchscreen cable's connector to the designated port on the control panel.
Remove the corner screw from the control board and attach the ground strap to the right side.
Connect the touchscreen cable's 2-pin plug to the correct pins (1 and 2) on the 3-pin controller connector.
Reverse the removal steps to slide the control panel back into place, checking for pinched cables.
Replace the socket head screw to secure the controller, ensuring proper grounding for the laser.
