Release Notes Xerox 4110/4590 PCL/PS Drivers
MS Office applications may send one job for each set selected.
- If this occurs deselect collate in Office application and select collate in the PPD
settings.
Quark Express files spooling graphics for each set.
- Quark Express spools the graphics for every set. A workaround is to send the job
secure print and program the number on copies from the UI.
-There are image quality differences between submission of PDF from Adobe5 and
Adobe6. PDF’s submitted from Adobe 6 using the PCL driver might display some IQ
anomalies. Workaround: Submit PDF’s from Adobe 5 using the PCL driver.
Delayed Print does not always print when expected.
-Make sure that when using the Delayed Print feature in the driver, both the IOT clock
and Client clock are synchronized. If they are not you will not exact results.
The Xerox 4110
/4590 PPD may need to be manually loaded for Quark Express.
-Make sure that the Xerox 4110
/4590 PPD is loaded in the PPD Manager folder within the
Quark application. If it is not loaded, you will not be able to print using the Xerox 4110
/4590
PPD.
