What to do if my Xtreme Power Engine has poor cylinder compression?
    • C
      Connie TurnerAug 15, 2025
If your Xtreme Power Engine has poor cylinder compression, several factors could be the cause. A worn piston ring exceeding its wear limit requires replacement of the piston rings. Sticking piston rings need carbon fouling cleared. A broken piston ring also requires replacement. Ensure the spark plug is tightened with a gasket. Check for air leakage between the cylinder block and cylinder, inspecting the cylinder gasket and the flatness of the surface where the cylinder block contacts the cylinder head; tighten cylinder bolts to the specified torque. Lastly, check for air leakage in the valve, inspecting valve clearance and tightness, and repair if necessary.

What causes a spark plug to be in bad condition in Xtreme Power 62027?
    • S
      Shane SmithAug 23, 2025
A spark plug in bad condition in your Xtreme Power Engine can be attributed to a few reasons. Too much carbon fouling and dirt around the electrodes requires cleaning. If the electrodes are severely burn-damaged or the insulators are damaged, the spark plug needs replacement. An improper electrode gap should be adjusted to the correct value.

Why is my Xtreme Power 62027 Engine starting with difficulty?
    • G
      Geoffrey ShawNov 4, 2025
There are several reasons why your Xtreme Power Engine might be hard to start. It could be due to insufficient fuel in the tank or a closed fuel cock. Make sure to fill the fuel tank and open the fuel cock. Another cause might be a clogged air vent in the filler cap, which you should dredge. A clogged fuel cock can also cause this issue; clean and dredge it. An improper or clogged main jet needs readjustment or cleaning. A needle valve closed improperly, or a clogged start hole requires dismantling, repair, and cleaning. Other potential issues include a damaged or sticking floater (repair the floater), filthy or deteriorated fuel (replace the fuel), too much fuel in the engine cylinder (drain extra fuel and dry the spark plug electrodes), or using the wrong fuel brand (select the proper fu...
