Helpful Tips
General Tips:
• For best results, turn handle slowly.
• Use items that are 1/8” thick or less.
• Arrange multiple items on feed tray to maximize cartridge use.
• Clean rollers with isopropyl alcohol as needed.
• Store your machine and cartridges in a cool, dry place.
• If your handle turns but nothing is coming out, be sure your lid
is closed.
• Use a variety of materials: paper, cardstock, vellum, canvas,
burlap, fabric, ribbon, twill, twine, craft foam, tissue paper, felt,
cork, thin wood and acrylic, photos, paper owers, thin metal
sheets, and newspaper.
Fabric Tips:
• Wash sizing from fabric.
• For items that will be washed, stitch after adhering.
• For best results, use Permanent Adhesive.
Permanent and Repositionable Adhesive:
• When feeding multiple items, do not overlap to
ensure edge-to-edge coverage.
• Remove excess adhesive with your nger or Xyron
®
Adhesive Eraser (sold separately).
Two-Sided Laminate:
• NOT recommended for one-of-a-kind items.
• Before inserting your item, test a few inches to
ensure no wrinkles are present.
• If a wrinkle occurs, fold a piece of cardstock to
4" x 4" and run it through the center of the machine
until you see the laminate smooth out.
