User Interface and Navigation

Main Menu Structure

The main menus (top-level menus) appear on the screen in the order shown in Figure 6.

Icons and Settings Overview

An icon is a simple graphic that represents an object, such as a clock, or a setting such as battery voltage.

Soft Key Functionality

Certain keys on the Display Panel called "soft keys" make it possible to navigate from one menu to another, change settings, delete a log entry, or take other actions.

Operating Screen Icons

Table 6 shows the icons that appear on the Operating Screen.

Password and Activity Log Icons

Truck Setup and Configuration

Truck Setup Menu Overview

To access this menu, cycle through the main menu title screens by pressing the Scroll Back Key (—) or Scroll Forward Key (—▸) until the Truck Setup Title Screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 49.

Settings and Adjustments

This menu allows Supervisors and Service Technicians to manage settings like passwords, battery type, and restore defaults.

Performance and Monitoring Settings

This menu allows adjustment of Motion Alarm and Impact Monitor settings for truck performance and safety.
