DESCRIPTION BEHAVIOR
Serial number mis-match between RH Traction
(master) and display.
Traction limited to Mode 1, lowering allowed.
Probable Causes and Test Procedures
4. Verify display power:
a. Is the display backlight ON (regardless of graphics)?
YES- Proceed to Step 5.
NO- Proceed to Step 4b.
b. Is the display connector fitted, with no connector/wiring/pin damage?
YES- Proceed to Step 4c.
NO- Repair/replace any damage pin/connector/wiring.
c. Check the voltage to Pins 2 and 5 to be ~36V always (with Battery plugged in).
YES- Proceed to step 4d.
NO- Check for blown FU1 fuse.
d. Check the voltage to Pins 1 and 6 to be ~36V with Key On, 0V with Key-off
YES- Display is faulty, contact Service Engineering.
NO- Proceed to step 4e.
e. Verify power wire continuity from Pin 6 to KEY-SW IGN terminal
f. Verify KEY-SW continuity between BAT & IGN terminals when switched to "ON."
YES- Check that wires are on correct terminal of key-sw.
NO- Replace faulty KEY-SW.
