FILLING FUEL AND
ENGINE OIL
FILLING FUEL
1) Remove the fuel tank cap.
2) Fill the fuel tank carefully.
3) Close the cap securely after refueling.
Wipe up any spilled fuel.

This engine uses the YAMAHA AUTOL-
UBE SYSTEM, which provides superior
lubrication by ensuring the proper oil
ratio for all operating conditions. No fuel
premixing is needed (except during
break-in/running-in). Simply pour gaso-
line into the fuel tank and oil into the oil
tank.
Convenient indicator segments indicate
condition of the oil supply. Refer to oil
warning system.
To fill the engine oil into the oil tanks, pro-
ceed as follows:

Do not add gasoline (Petrol) into the oil
tank. Fire or explosion could result.
Fuel tank capacity:
Refer to SPECIFICATIONS, Page 4-1.
Engine oil tank capacity:
Refer to “SPECIFICATION”, page 4-1.
