  If an existing file isn't showing on the Yamaha Synthesizer's display, it might be because the file extension was changed or deleted. To fix this, manually rename the file on a computer, adding the correct extension (like .MID). Also, data files with names longer than 50 characters cannot be read by the instrument. Rename the file to have 50 or fewer characters.

  If you only hear the rhythm channel and no accompaniment sounds on your Yamaha Synthesizer, ensure that the Auto Accompaniment function is turned on by pressing the [ACMP ON/OFF] button. Also, make sure you are playing keys in the chord section of the keyboard, not the right-hand range.

  If the Vocal Harmony effect isn't working even when turned on for your Yamaha Synthesizer, and you're in Chordal mode, Vocal Harmony is only added when chords are detected. Try turning on the [ACMP ON/OFF] button and playing chords in the chord section during Style playback, turning on the Left part and playing chords in the left hand section, playing back a Song containing chords, or setting the “Stop ACMP” parameter to something other than “Disabled”.
