DRIVE CHAIN AND SPROCKETS
NOTE:
Before removing the drive chain and
sprockets, drive chain slack and 10-link
length of drive chain should be measured.
REMOVAL
1.Elevate the rear wheel by placing a suit-
able stand under the frame and engine.
WARNING
Securely support the motorcycle so there is
no danger of it falling over.
2.Remove:
● Shift pedal 1
● Crankcase cover 2 2
3.Remove:
● Drive sprocket
● Drive chain
Refer to “ENGINE REMOVAL” in CHAP-
TER 4.
4.Remove:
● Chain joint clip 1
