      If no sound is coming from one or both of your Yamaha Speakers, there are several potential causes: * The AC adapter might not be properly plugged into the wall outlet. Ensure it is firmly inserted. * The power switch may be turned off. Turn the power switch on, and check if the indicator lights illuminate. * There might be faulty or incomplete connections. Re-establish the connections firmly or try using a different cable. * The volume could be set to the minimum. Adjust the volume control to increase the volume. * The input signal may be too small. Increase the volume on the connected component. * Headphones could be connected. Disconnect headphones, as no sound comes from the output jack when headphones are connected.

      If you hear noise when the power is turned on to your Yamaha Speakers, it might be because the power cord is connected to another unit’s SWITCHED AC OUTLET. Connect the power cord to an UNSWITCHED AC OUTLET instead, and use the power switch on the Yamaha Speakers to turn the power on and off.
