Why won't my Yamaha Z150P start, even though the starter operates?

Several factors could be the reason why your Yamaha Outboard Motor isn't starting. It could be due to an empty fuel tank, contaminated or stale fuel, or a clogged fuel filter. The starting procedure might be incorrect, or there may be issues with the fuel pump, spark plugs, ignition wiring, or other ignition parts. The engine stop switch lanyard might not be attached, or internal engine parts could be damaged. Check these components, and if the problem persists, consider having it serviced by a Yamaha dealer.
