    How to fix a Yard-Man 500 that won't start?
    • M
      Mitchell TurnerAug 13, 2025
If your Yard-Man Snow Blower engine won't start, make sure the choke is in the CHOKE position. Also, check that the spark plug wire is connected and the fuel tank isn't empty or filled with stale fuel. Ensure the engine is primed as instructed, the spark plug isn't faulty (clean, adjust gap, or replace if needed), and the key is fully inserted into the switch.

Why is my Yard-Man Snow Blower engine running erratically?
    • B
      Belinda MillerAug 17, 2025
If your Yard-Man Snow Blower engine is running erratically, first ensure the choke lever is in the RUN position. Stale fuel could be the culprit; try filling the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. Also, check for water or dirt in the fuel system and drain/refill with fresh fuel. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the carburetor may be out of adjustment or the engine may be over-governed, and you should contact an authorized Service Center.
