It could be due to an empty fuel tank (fill it with properly-mixed fuel), insufficient priming (press the primer bulb fully and slowly 10 times), a flooded engine (hold the throttle control and pull the starter rope until it starts), old or improperly mixed fuel (drain the tank and add fresh fuel), a fouled spark plug (replace or clean it), a plugged spark arrestor (clean or replace it), or the EZ-Start lever not being set (move the lever to start).
