How to fix cutting attachment if it will not advance on Yard-Man Trimmer?

If the cutting attachment on your Yard-Man Trimmer isn't advancing, consider these potential causes and solutions: * The cutting attachment may be bound with grass. Stop the motor and clean the cutting attachment. * The cutting attachment may be out of line. Refill it with a new line. * The inner reel may be bound up. In this case, replace the inner reel. * The cutting head may be dirty. Clean the inner reel and outer spool. * The line may be welded. Disassemble, remove the welded section, and rewind. * The line may be twisted when refilled. Disassemble and rewind the line. * Not enough line may be exposed. Push the bump knob and pull out the line until 4 inches (102 mm) of line are outside of the cutting attachment.
