These are some of the wood chipper
features and controls you should be aware
of to familiarize yourself with the chipper.
It is very important you understand
components for a safe operation of the
machine and further instruct someone else
on the operation of this chipper if needed.
Feed Hopper:
You can allow the entry of
wood up to 3-
1/2 "diameter in the hopper to
be chopped.
You will find that more dry
mater
ial will be harder to chip but more
brittle as opposed to green material which is
softer in hardness. The chipper naturally
performs better self feeding action on green
material over dry material.
WARNING
When operating the
wood
use safety protection,
this chipper
expels wood chips with great force
by design.
IMPORTANT: Never place

of the machine.
Clutch:
The clutch is a transmission coupling
mechanism that engages and disengages
automatically by the engine RPM's. If you
are chipping at top chipper capacity and
the engine stalls below the engaging
minimum engine RPM, the chipper rotor will
stop while the en
gine won't. It is important
that you siwftly throttle the engine down to
idle position to fully disengage the clutch to
avoind overload on the clutch shoes and
