What to do if my Yardworks 060-3864-2 motor cuts out?

If the motor cuts out due to blocking protection, it could be due to several reasons: foreign objects blocking the unit, the dethatcher depth being too low, the cylinder being adjusted improperly, or the grass being too tall. To resolve this: 1. Turn off the motor, unplug it, and wait for the dethatcher to stop rotating. 2. Remove any foreign objects. 3. Wait about a minute, then switch the dethatcher back on. Also, allow the motor to cool down, adjust the depth correctly, and mow the lawn before dethatching.
