VCM36 Connection
Charging the VCM36-W
During charging, the battery indicator glows red. When the battery capacity reaches full, the battery
indicator glows green. When you charge the
VCM36-W, it will power on automatically.
Note: If it is the first time you use the VCM36-W, you need to fully charge them. If the VCM36-W is not in use,
we still recommend that you to charge it even when the battery is full.
Powering on/off
1. Long tap the mute button for 15 seconds to power off the VCM36-W. The power LED indicator glows red
and then off.
2. Long tap the mute button for 5 seconds to power on the VCM36-W. The power LED indicator glows red and
then off, and then glows green for one second and then off.
Working with the Video Conferencing System*
Pairing VCM36-W with the video conferencing system
Connect the USB-C port on VCM36-W to the USB port on the video conferencing system using the USB-C
cable. The display device will show: Wireless microphone is paired successfully. Disconnect the cable, then
you can use VCM36-W.
Working with the USB room cameras
Pairing VCM36-W with the USB room cameras
Currently, only wired pairing is available.
1. Connect the USB-C port on VCM36-W to the USB port on the PC using the USB-C cable.
2. Connect the Video Out port on the UVC camera to the same PC using a USB-B cable.
3. Run the Yealink RoomConnect software on the PC. After paired successfully, the VCM36 card appears on
the YealinkRoomConnect software. Disconnect the cable, then you can use VCM36-W.
*The video conferencing system will be compatible with VCM36-W in subsequent versions.
