10. Maintenance and Inspection
Before maintenance and inspection of this product, read carefully and understand Chapter 1 “Safety
Precautions”, especially the section of Built-in Battery in “■ Maintenance ･ Inspection ･ Repair”
and carry out correctly.
10.1. Replacement of battery
This product contains lithium battery for memory of clock.
Replacement period of battery is shown on the under side of the unit.
When the replacement period is coming, ask us or our designated servicing factory for
replacement via your sales outlet or sales agent.
If you replace the battery by yourself, ask your electric professional to replace it according
to the following.
(Procurement of battery)
Be sure to procure the battery (CR-2032, Panasonic) for wireless unit via your sales
outlet or sales agent.
* Never modify and use other battery.
(Procedure of battery replacement)
① Turn off the power switch of the wireless unit and remove the power plug from the
receptacle.
② Leave the unit for one hour to cool down hot parts in the unit.
③ Again, make sure that the power switch is OFF and the power plug is removed from
the receptacle.
④ Remove the cover fixing screws on the side of the unit (four locations) and remove
the cover (see ① to ④).
