Overview

YOODA MAGNETIC_1RwT and MAGNETIC_5RwT Transmitters

This document describes the YOODA MAGNETIC series of transmitters, including the single-channel MAGNETIC_1RwT and the five-channel MAGNETIC_5RwT models. These devices are designed to control YOODA brand motors and offer a range of features for automated and manual operation of roller shutters.

Function Description

The MAGNETIC transmitters are designed for remote control of single motors or groups of up to 20 motors per channel. They offer both manual and automatic work modes, including a random mode for varied activation times.

Control Modes:

  • Manual Work Mode (MAN): Standard operation without time programming.
  • Automatic Work Mode (AUTO): Standard operation with activated automatic work times.
  • Random Work Mode (AUTO with random time): Automatic mode with activation times varying by +/- 15 minutes from the programmed time.

Programming Features:

  • Timer Programming: Allows users to set specific opening and closing times for roller shutters.
  • Channel Selection: The 5-channel model allows selection of individual channels or a group channel to control multiple devices simultaneously. A group channel is active when all channel numbers (1-5) are selected.
  • Time Setting: Current time, including hour, minute, and day of the week, can be set.
  • Automatic Opening/Closing Time Setting: Specific times for automatic operation can be programmed for each day of the week and for each channel.

Buttons and Indicators:

  • UP Button: Moves the roller shutter up, increases values during programming.
  • DOWN Button: Moves the roller shutter down, decreases values during programming.
  • STOP Button: Stops the roller shutter, exits time programming mode without saving changes.
  • L1 Timer Programming Button/CHANNEL + Button: Used for timer programming and navigating channels.
  • Work Mode Button: Switches between manual, automatic, and random work modes.
  • P1 Configuration Change Button/CHANNEL - Button: Used for configuration changes and navigating channels.
  • Display: Shows current time, work mode (MAN/AUTO), channel number (for 5RwT), and indicators for battery status.
  • Discharged Battery Message: An icon indicates when the battery is low.
  • Direction of Roller Shutter Movement: Indicated on the display.
  • Currently Channel (only 5RwT): Shows the active channel number.

Usage Features

Activating Channels in Automatic Mode:

  • A channel is inactive when its number is flashing. Default channels are active in automation for the 5-channel transmitter.
  • To deactivate automatic mode, press the 'P1' button for about 3 seconds; the channel number will flash.
  • To reactivate automatic mode, press the 'P1' button again for about 3 seconds; the display will show the channel number constantly.

Changing Work Mode:

  • Press the work mode button for about 3 seconds to cycle through manual, automatic, and random modes.
  • The display will show "MAN" for manual, "AUTO" for automatic, and "AUTO" with a random time symbol for random mode.

Setting Current Time:

  • Time can only be set in manual work mode.
  • Press the work mode button for about 3 seconds to enter manual mode.
  • Press and hold the L1 button for about 3 seconds; the hour will start to flash.
  • Use UP/DOWN buttons to set the hour, then press L1 to switch to minute setting, and use UP/DOWN buttons to set minutes.
  • Press L1 to switch to day of the week setting, and use UP/DOWN buttons to set the current day.
  • Press and hold P1 for about 3 seconds to confirm all changes. Pressing L1 will start the clock.
  • A pause longer than 10 seconds during time setting will cause the device to switch off without saving changes.

Setting Automatic Opening and Closing Time:

  • This can only be done in automatic mode.
  • The difference between automatic opening and closing times cannot be shorter than 32 minutes; a fault message will appear if it is.
  • Press the work mode button to set automatic or random mode.
  • Press the L1 button for approximately 3 seconds; the opening time will appear.
  • Press L1; the opening hour will flash. Use UP/DOWN buttons to set the hour.
  • Press L1 to switch to minute settings. Use UP/DOWN buttons to set minutes.

  • Use UP/DOWN buttons to set minutes for the closing time.
  • Press L1 to switch to minute settings for the closing time.
  • Press P1 to confirm the set time and move to setting the hour for the next day of the week.
  • These steps must be repeated for all opening and closing hours for every day of the week and for all five channels.
  • If '--:--' appears while setting, it means the time is not active in automatic mode.
  • To exit time programming mode without saving changes, press the STOP button.
  • A pause longer than 60 seconds during programming will cause the device to switch off without saving changes.

Programming First Transmitter to R-type Motors:

  • The programming method depends on the type of radio receiver. Refer to the instructions for the device being controlled.
  • Turn on the power supply to the motor or press the microswitch for 2 seconds when power is on.
  • The motor will make a sound, and the roller shutter will move up/down.
  • Simultaneously press the L1 timer programming button and the work mode button on the transmitter. The motor will make a sound.
  • Simultaneously press the L1 timer programming button and the work mode button again.
  • Press the UP button. The motor will make a sound, and the roller shutter will move up/down, followed by a few short sounds from the motor.
  • A pause longer than 5 seconds during programming will cause the device to switch off without saving changes.
  • Using this method will delete receiver memory.

Maintenance Features

Battery Replacement:

  • Change batteries when no channel number is displayed after pressing any button, or when the device stops reacting to commands.
  • Pay attention to the correct polarity when replacing the battery.
  • Dispose of used batteries properly, as they contain substances that may be hazardous to health and the environment.

General Notes:

  • The radio receiver range is variable and can differ from declared values due to factors like building construction, interference from other radio transmitters, etc.
  • To fully explore all available functions, users should read the manual thoroughly before use.
  • MAGNETIC transmitters are compatible with all YOODA brand devices.
