    What to do if grounding is inadequate for Zareba AC POWERED?

      If the grounding for your Zareba Controller is inadequate, add additional ground rods 6 feet apart connected by hook-up wire until the reading is under 400 volts. You may also add extra ground rods or make them deeper, then test again. Continue adding more ground rods until the ground system reads under 400 volts.

      If the hook-up wire is leaking to ground, ensure you are using 20 KV insulated hook-up wire. Turn off the Zareba Controller and reconnect the hook-up wire to the fence line.

      If you have an inadequate voltage reading but the fence line is okay, ensure the power supply to your Zareba Controller is sufficient. Replace or repair the battery or AC power.
