  An elevated dew point in your ZEKS Dryer can stem from several causes. It may be due to an insufficient purge rate, so check the purge flow settings and piping for obstructions, cleaning the piping and muffler if needed. Also, inlet air pressure below the design condition, a flow rate higher than the design condition, or an inlet temperature exceeding 120F can contribute to this issue. Check the pressure source and system for leaks, verify the flow rate, and inspect/service the aftercooler. Finally, entrained water entering the desiccant bed or desiccant contaminated by oil could be the reason. In this case, check the air/moisture separator, prefilter, and drains, replacing the dryer desiccant if necessary. Consider installing a suitable prefilter.

  If your ZEKS Dryer isn't shifting, begin by checking the power input to ensure there's no issue with the power supply. Then, inspect the solenoid valve for any defects. Also, verify that there is pilot air by checking the pilot air line and ensuring the control air line filter is clean. Lastly, inspect the pilot-operated diaphragm valve seat for failure, replacing seals as needed.

  If the Blue Moisture Indicator (BMI) on your ZEKS Dryer indicates a high moisture level, it could be due to an elevated dew point. Refer to the corrective actions for 'Elevated Dew Point'. Also, if the BMI is wet, depending on the desiccant saturation, it could take a week or more of continuous use for it to switch back to its blue (dry) state.

In this case, check the inlet valve and outlet check valves, and verify that the inlet valve is closed to the purging tower (0 psig tower).
