Overview

This document is a Welcome Guide for the Zero Home Dock, a device designed for charging mobile devices and Zero Wireless Qi Pads.

Function Description

The Zero Home Dock is a charging station that supports both wireless Qi charging for mobile devices and dedicated slots for charging Zero Wireless Qi Pads (not included). It provides a convenient way to charge multiple devices simultaneously.

Usage Features

  • Placement: The Home Dock should be placed on a flat and level surface. Once plugged in, it is ready to charge devices.
  • Charging Mobile Devices:
    • Place your wireless-enabled Qi device on top of the Zero logo on the Wireless Charging Surface to charge.
    • The Home Dock will indicate power flow with a solid blue LED light when a device is charging.
  • Charging Zero Wireless Qi Pads (not included):
    • Place your Qi Pad in one of the Wireless Qi Pad Charging Slots with the contact points facing down.
  • LED Indicator:
    • Located on the front of the Home Dock.
    • A blue light indicates a device is charging.
    • A red light indicates an error or a non-compatible device.
  • Phone Case Compatibility:
    • The Home Dock supports charging through phone cases up to 4mm thick.
    • Ultra-thick protective cases or cases with magnetic/iron plates are not recommended as they may affect wireless charging.
    • "Wallet" cases are not recommended due to potential interference with magnetic strips on cards.
  • Supported Devices:
    • iPhone models: SE, 8, 8 Plus, X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro Max, 12 Pro.
    • Android models: Most wireless-enabled Qi devices.
  • Network Reception: Using wireless charging in areas with weak network signals may lead to loss of network reception.

Maintenance Features

  • Proper Placement for Charging: Ensure the device is placed properly on the charging surface, aligning with the device's wireless charging coil, to ensure proper charging.
  • Non-Compatible Devices: If the Home Dock detects a non-compatible device, it will not charge, and the LED indicator will turn red.
  • Foreign Materials: Do not place foreign materials such as metal objects, magnets, and magnetic stripe cards between the mobile device and the Home Dock, as this can interfere with charging.
  • Cable and Charger: Use the original or certified cable and wall charger for optimal performance and safety.
  • FCC Interference Mitigation: If the equipment causes harmful interference to radio or television reception, users are encouraged to try to correct it by:
    • Reorienting or relocating the receiving antenna.
    • Increasing the separation between the equipment and receiver.
    • Connecting the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
    • Consulting the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
  • FCC Radiation Exposure: The equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. During operation, a device distance of 15 cm surrounding the device and 20 cm above the top surface of the device must be respected.
  • Warranty Information:
    • The product comes with a one-year parts and 90-day labor warranty from the date of original purchase.
    • Repairs or replacements will be made with reconditioned products at the company's option.
    • Proof of warranty coverage (dated bill of sale) is required.
    • The warranty does not cover damage from alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident, or removal/defacement of the factory serial number/barcode label.
    • The company's liability is limited to repair or replacement and will not exceed the purchase price.
    • Implied warranties, including merchantability, are limited to the duration of the written warranty (12 months from original purchase).
    • Incidental damages for breach of warranty are excluded.
