What to do if my Zodiac Heat Pump is draining water?
    • W
      William MartinAug 10, 2025
If your Zodiac Heat Pump is draining water, it's likely due to condensation, where moisture in the air condenses on cold parts, especially the evaporator. This is normal, and the water drains through a hole in the base. To check for a pool circuit leak, shut down the heat pump but keep the filtration pump running. If water continues to drain after half an hour, there's likely a leak, and you should contact your reseller.

Why is my Zodiac Heat Pump not working?

      Randall MooreAug 15, 2025
If your Zodiac Heat Pump isn't working, start by checking the supply voltage and the F1 fuse if there's no display. Also, the heat pump will stop heating if the set temperature is reached, if the water flow is insufficient, or if the outside temperature drops below -12 °C. It may also stop if it detects an operating fault.

What to do if my Zodiac Heat Pump is working but the water temperature does not increase?
    • D
      Dr. Robert BrooksAug 26, 2025
If your Zodiac Heat Pump isn't heating the water, it could be due to several reasons. The heat pump may have detected an operating fault. Check if the automatic filling valve is stuck open, as this can continuously add cold water. Significant heat loss due to cool air can also prevent the temperature from rising; consider installing a heat-insulated cover. A clogged evaporator can reduce the heat pump's ability to capture heat, so clean it. Also, make sure the external environment isn't obstructing the heat pump and that the heat pump is appropriately sized for your pool.

Why does my Zodiac Heat Pump not start heating straight away?
    • D
      david04Sep 4, 2025
Your Zodiac Heat Pump will remain paused for 3 minutes on start-up before beginning operation. Also, the heat pump stops heating when the setpoint temperature is reached, the water flow rate is insufficient, or the outdoor temperature is below -12 °C. It may also stop if it detects an operating fault.

Why does the Zodiac Heat Pump ventilator run but the compressor stops?
    • K
      Kenneth PerezSep 12, 2025
If your Zodiac Heat Pump ventilator is running but the compressor stops and the device trips the circuit breaker, it could be due to several reasons. The heat pump might be performing defrost cycles if the outdoor temperature is low. Also, a clogged evaporator can prevent the heat pump from capturing enough calories. Ensure the circuit breaker and cable section are correctly sized. Low supply voltage can also cause this issue, or the varistors V1 and/or V11 may be damaged (in this case, replace them).
