  If your Zodiac Heat Pump is draining water, it's likely due to condensation, where moisture in the air condenses on cold parts, especially the evaporator. This is normal, and the water drains through a hole in the base. To check for a pool circuit leak, shut down the heat pump but keep the filtration pump running. If water continues to drain after half an hour, there's likely a leak, and you should contact your reseller.

A clogged evaporator can reduce the heat pump's ability to capture heat, so clean it. Also, make sure the external environment isn't obstructing the heat pump and that the heat pump is appropriately sized for your pool.

  If your Zodiac Heat Pump ventilator is running but the compressor stops and the device trips the circuit breaker, it could be due to several reasons. The heat pump might be performing defrost cycles if the outdoor temperature is low. Also, a clogged evaporator can prevent the heat pump from capturing enough calories. Ensure the circuit breaker and cable section are correctly sized. Low supply voltage can also cause this issue, or the varistors V1 and/or V11 may be damaged (in this case, replace them).
