  If your Zoetis Measuring Instruments meter doesn't enter test mode after inserting a test strip, here are a few potential reasons: * The test strip might be upside down or not fully inserted. Ensure the test strip is inserted with the print side up and the top end in. * There may be no battery installed, or the battery might be installed incorrectly. Make sure to install the battery with the (+) side facing up. * The battery might be dead. If so, replace it and reset the date and time if needed. If none of these steps work, there may be an issue with the test strip or the meter.
