NOTE:
You can also pick up your phone to turn on the screen. To
enable this feature, open Settings and touch Features >
Gesture & motion and switch on Raise to wake.
2. Put your face in front of the screen. If the face recognition fails,
touch to try again.
3. Depending on your setting, you may need to swipe up on the
screen to unlock the phone.
Set Face Recognition Options
You can set what face recognition can do on your phone.
1. Open Settings and touch Password and security > Face
recognition.
2. Enter the screen lock pattern, PIN or password you set.
3. You can set the following options.
Unlock device: Select how the screen is unlocked with
your face.
Unlock apps: If this option is enabled, you can use face
recognition to open the apps locked by Private Space.
See Private Space.
Access Private Space: If this option is enabled, you can
use face recognition to access Private Space.
Do not recognize face when eyes are closed: If this
option is enabled, you cannot use face recognition to
unlock the phone when you close your eyes.
