TheGUIoftheNetNumenN31networkmanagementsystemispresentedintheformof
topology,andinformationabouteachNEinthenetworkcanbeviewedontheGUI.Auser
canselectanNEtobemaintained,andviewdetailedperformancedata,alarminformation,
andcongurationdataoftheNE.Operationandmaintenancecanbeperformedona
certaintypeofNEsthroughtherelevanttopology.Itsmainfunctionsareasfollows:
lCongurationmanagement
Itenablesuserstoadd,query,delete,andmodifythephysicalandradioresource
dataofbasestations,andcheckdataconsistency.Bothdynamicandstaticdata
congurationsaresupported.
lSecuritymanagement
Itensuresthatonlyauthorizeduserscanperformrelevantcommandgroupoperations.
lPerformancemanagement
Itenablesuserstoimplementperformanceanalysis,calltracing,andsignalingtracing.
lVersionmanagement
Itenablesuserstoviewtherunningsoftwareandhardwareversionsthroughthe
networkmanagementsystem,throughwhichsoftwarecanbedownloadedand
upgraded.
lFaultmanagement
Itincludestwoparts:alarmmanagementanddiagnostictest.Itperformscentralized
monitoringofrunningstatusofbasestationsandcollectsabnormalinformation
aboutboardsandlinksinrealtime.Thisfunctionmakesitconvenientforoperation
andmaintenancepersonneltoperformanalysis,makedecision,andimplement
maintenanceandrepair.
