RFP LED status
The RFP32 has three separate LEDs for red, orange and green to show the different states
during start-up.
The RFP31 has only one LED showing all LED states/colours.
State LED state Remarks
Booter (Startup) RED on Wait for link up
Booter DHCP RED flashing 0.5 Hz Launch a DHCP request and wait
for an DHCP offer
Booter (TFTP) RED flashing 2.5 Hz Download the application image
Application (DHCP) ORANGE on Launch DHCP request and wait
for DHCP reply
Application (init) GREEN flashing 0.5 Hz RFP initializes its internal
components
Application (init) GREEN flashing 1 Hz RFP tries to connect to the OMM
Application (init) GREEN flashing (2 sec on, 0.5 sec
off)
The DECT part of RFP does not
work (either not configured or not
synchronized with other RFP’s)
Application (init) GREEN RFP is up and running
At the end of the booting phase, each RFP has obtained the following information from the DHCP
server:
The network parameters (IP address, subnet mask, router gateway)
The IP address of the equipment (RFP or Linux server PC) hosting the OMM application
that manages the SIP DECT STIMULI signalling interface with the GSI gateway
The name of the RFP software file to download
The TFTP server IP address for downloading
The (downloaded) RFP software file: ip_rfp.cnt.
Each RFP then sets up a signalling link with the equipment (RFP or Linux server PC) hosting the
OMM application that manages the SIP DECT STIMULI signalling interface with the GSI
gateway.
