5 DEPLOYING THE IP DECT SERVICE
5.1 DEPLOYMENT KIT
If an IP DECT installation must be planned, the distribution of RFPs must meet the following
requirements:
RFP synchronisation;
An appropriate coverage to ensure dialogue between the RFPs and the PP on the entire site.
The deployment kit is used to conduct an appropriate study. This kit contains:

The building / site installation plan
A measurement RFP with its power unit
A support and mains adapter / battery for the RFPs
A reference handset (loaded with a specific software solution)
Battery chargers if applicable
A spectrum analyser.
The spectrum analyser is not always indispensable. It is necessary for making checks if there are
sources of interference which may affect the DECT frequency band (approximately 1.9 GHz).
